Upgrading from a Force 22 group, the SRAM clamp adapter for the FD has a round / cylindrical shaped mounting surface as does the old F22 FD. The D2 FD I’m installing is flat, but otherwise fits (looks like E1 went back to rounded again). Seems weird to mount a flat surface against a concave one, though I’ve seen it on another bike, as it would only be contacting the mount at the edges. Is this correct or am I missing something?
