Yep that ole chestnut. I have a a 2022/3 SID Ultimate (35mm stanchions) with some bushing play. I know this is a longstanding issue and what my potential recourse is (I’m out of warranty). My question is - is this something I actually need to worry about? The play is obvious in my shop (IE when checking for a loose headset), but not really on the trail. Is this impacting the fork’s performance, or is it something that will continue to get worse and be an issue?
I can live with this if none of those are true, but would rather get out in front of it and budget for a fix/new fork if there’s a larger problem a brewing.
