Light carbon bike frame/bike ideas

I’ve got a 54cm Officine Mattio SL with Campy 2x13, built up with a 1250g whelset whilst that weighs 6.25kg (with cages but no pedals): https://www.officinemattio.com/en/new-sl-24-25/

The Aethos looks sweet and might be my next road-going bike. Nice to see other recommendations pop up for it here. Especially considering how light it can be setup (but, my poor wallet for that S-works frame).

I’ve got a 58cm frame, with pedals it’s 7.6kg.

Also on a shameless self-promotion vibe, I’m looking forward to getting a production model in the UK of the new Bike Ahead Composites SUPERFAST gravel bike, built up with Red. The bike that won the Eurobike 2025 award in the ‘bike’ category weighed 6.85kg, with their trademark 6-spoke gravel wheels!

I started this discussion with questions. now i have answers: IF i am going to get a new bike it will be a time alpe d’huez frame ready to paint and this will be finished by robert from velociao in berlin. a master of paint

but i guess i will stick with the bike which i have right now. less consumerism. and it was built as the-last-bike-i-will-ever-need. and it’s basically the perfect bike. i love its looks and it rides like a charm. i can repair almost everything by myself. even with my basic skill set as a mechanic.

Take a peak at Massacan! Their Carbonara is a lovely classic ethossed bike with modern features. It is also endlessly cool.

Your post is worthless without any pictures.
