Anyone able to provide an update on jetblack victory reliability and support?
I’m interested in the feature set and pricing but it needs to just work.

I bought one and received it just before xmas last year. It was my first season with a smart trainer but it worked perfectly every time i tried to use it.
I didn’t put it through a whole lot of stress as I’m not putting out tons of watts but as far s consumer electronics go i would definitely say it works.
My Jet Black Volt has been good. I’ve had one quick warranty replacement, one small repair done with JB sending parts, and am currently getting a repair done having had to send it back to them (out of warranty, I’m paying for the repair).
Support communication to organise this repair has been slower than I’d like, but we’re getting there. I would likely buy a Victory if this Volt died.
I got a Victory just before Christmas last year. It’s worked flawlessly with my laptop/Zwift. The only issue I’ve had was with connection to my Fenix 5 which was recording training simultaneously to my laptop. There was a firmware update which broke ANT+ to the watch. Everything else worked fine.
I got a response from their tech support same afternoon I logged a ticket and had an answer the following day.
Ive been happy with it. Does what I need at a reasonable price point.
I don’t think I would qualify 3 repair issues in less than a year as “good”. I would qualify that as “horrible”.
Given all the reports of imbalances, vibrations, electronics, and other issues, I am very happy I cancelled my pre-order. It will be a long time before I would ever consider buying a JB. They are most definitely on my “Do Not Fly” list.
ETA - just noted that you said you have a Volt, not a Victory, so you have likely had it longer than a year. Even so, 3 repair issues in a relatively short period is still unacceptable in my book.
Agreed. I had zero issues with a first gen Hammer over six years before selling it. Three repairs in one year? Fuhgettaboutit.
I should have clarified the timeline. My original purchase was November ‘21, with a warranty replacement within a year. So my current model I’ve had for a little over three years, probably riding it 3 days a week.
Issues have been a sensor replacement which fixed an issue they were having with Volts. Current issue is a bearing replacement.
I can cop a few issues; I don’t have a spare Au$1500 + for other brands, currently.
