Quick question I’m sure all seasoned mechanics have a solution for: when I pull my handlebars off for any reason, how do you support/hang them so that the cables aren’t stressed?
Toestrap through the headset and stem, dummy fork, leave them dangling if no pinch risk is present or a second stand altogether. Depends on what needs to be done and for how long the bars will stay off the bike.
I recently saw this: https://www.ravensoutdoor.co.uk/category/stem-dock
I havent tried it but I like the idea
Here is a similar model on MakerWorld https://makerworld.com/en/models/2079985
I have some suspension training straps that I use for this purpose. For me they work well when needed and are easily hooked away when not.

Nice, some great ideas to try out, thanks!
Not clear whether the Ravens World item can ship to the USA. May have to get family there to reship to the States if I buy one.
