According to this Karoo article on rearview radar integration, when “auto control” is enabled, “once a ride begins, the light will be set to the mode below. It will turn off once the ride has ended.” I am able to pair a Garmin Varia RTL515 to the latest Hammerhead (with the latest firmware). However, the Hammerhead does not turn on the taillight on the radar when I start a ride and it does not turn off the light when I end the ride. Another weird thing: when the Varia RTL515 is in standby mode - with the LED blinking blue - the Hammerhead does not see the radar. It is only after I press the power button on the Varia to turn on the taillight that the Hammerhead sees the radar. Any idea what’s going on?
