FS MTB with very low standover?

My wife, who is 5’0” with short legs, is looking for a short-travel full suspension mountain bike. At our first bike shop visit she ran into trouble with standover height, which is not negotiable. I know top tube shape can make a difference in functional clearance vs. spec clearance, and I was wondering if anyone had suggestions for bikes that work well for short people. From the numbers, we may have to go down to a 26” wheel.

Thanks!

Tried so far:

Specialized Chisel XS(29), 756

Norco Fluid FS 27.5, 640

Look interesting:

Liv Faith(26/27.5), 676

Trailcraft Maxwell 26, 675

Cannondale Habit 26, 675

Juliana Joplin XS(29), 680

Note: I had never heard of Trailcraft, but the mechanic at our LBS said that he’d been impressed by the ones that had come through.

Perhaps have a look at Pivot?

My wife is 4’10”

She’s got two MTBs that she fits well.

1st is a Trek Fuel EX in size XS. listed standover for that is 695 with 27.5s. It is two models old though.

2nd is not a Full Suspension, but a size Small Ibis DV9. Standover listed at 693 with 29s.

My wife is 4-11 and has a Rocky Mountain Element XS that she loves.

My partner is 5’ and has a S Juliana Furtado that she has no issues with the stand over.

The result of some online research. I have No idea how the numbers translate to real-world clearance.
