The announcers for the Femme’s are SO MUCH better than Phil (I got than name wrong) Leggitt and Bob (the correction machine) Roll - not only is the racing generally much more enjoyable than the hommes, but the quality of the US coverage is just light years better - I actually watch with the sound on!

Yes the world feed Is such much better! Don’t get too excited though. If it’s like the past years they will switch it out for the last couple of stages back to Phil and Bob
Yeah that’s the ASO-provided world feed. Commentators are Ant McCrossan and Hannah Walker. Bob and Phil will probably be back this weekend unfortunately (or if we’re really unlucky, as soon as Friday for Ventoux). They’re even more unbearable for the women since at least one of them has no idea who the riders are and can’t pronounce even major stars’ names… I hear that in the past, Peacock would offer the world feed or its audio as a separate option, but they haven’t done that the past couple years, so if you want competent commentary you’re stuck using alternative viewing methods those days.
It will be Phil and Meghan (not sure of her last name - a former rider.). The problem with Phil calling women’s cycling is he doesn’t know the riders. You think it’s bad Bob having to constantly correct t him? Just wait for Sat and Sunday.

I will go out of my way as an american to avoid peacock/nbc and the US commentators, they’re awful. Bob Roll is like Huell Howser from Temu.
How TJ Vangarderen still has a job is a christmas miracle, the guy has no clue what is going on half the time.
Christian Vande Velde is like a washed up ex varsity highschool football player trying to tell everyone how good he used to be.
VPN to Canada for FloBikes made the Tour watchable.
I like CVV - he at least seems to know what’s going on in the race (in between complaining about being uncomfortable on the bike).
Ugh. This morning’s coverage with the NBC team is just horrible. Whomever is commentating with Phil Legett makes Phil look like a commentating genius. Why oh why can’t we have the World Coverage.

I’m going to lose my shit listening to Phil this morning! So Phil comments that “the Dutch riders aren’t known for climbing” (
) noting they come from flat windy land. What’s wrong with this comment?!? He’s talking about the men’s peloton!!! Gee, who’s Dutch and is (or was) in this race AND can climb? 
Demi Vollering? Anna Van de Breggen? The QOM Puck Pieterse? And let’s not forget Annamiek Van Vleuten who won just about every mountain race she ever rode and destroyed the peloton while doing it?! ALL Dutch! So unfair to viewers putting someone on the commentary who doesn’t know the women’s peloton or history AND couldn’t bother to study up!
