I am building up a set of winter/touring/long distance road wheels for my new Strael frame. The only 24 spoke dynamo hub I could find is the DT Swiss PL-7 which is fine, as I have gotten on great with SP dynamos who DT had make the hub.

One glaring issue though is that I cannot find the hub measurements for working out the spoke lengths. They don’t seem to be available anywhere. This is in total contrast to ZTTO, whose rear hub I plan to use, who have full tech drawing on their AliExpress listings, and SP who have similar for all their own hubs.

DT don’t even have the PL-7 as an option in their own spoke calculator.

Anyone know where I can find the measurements? [Bikecomponents.de](http://Bikecomponents.de) have some measurements in their listing of the hub, but not all (spoke hole offset is missing), and I’m not sure whether to trust such measurements in a shop product listing anyway. Worst case I’ll have to measure the hub myself, but thought I’d ask here first.

A few of Son’s hubs are also available with 24 holes:

> **[für Steckachs-Systeme – SON Nabendynamo](https://nabendynamo.de/produkte/nabendynamos/fuer-steckachs-systeme/)**

I find their naming confusing, but at least two of the “28” models are available with 24 spokes (I have one on my gravel bike).

Their new hub is too:

Probably did see the SON hubs, but they are way more expensive(as proven by the screenshot shared by gerbils - ~€400 for SON, under €150 for the PL-7) and it doesn’t matter to me now anyway as already have the PL7.

Perhaps you could measure it and solve the mystery.

And I will, but a) as you likely know, measuring straight pull hubs is not particularly straightforward, and easy to get wrong, and b) you’d think a company like DT Swiss will have published the information somewhere.

Absolutely fantastic, Thanks!. My next port of call was to try DT themselves, or the UK distributor. Tried here first given how great this community is, and so it has been proven once again.
