Compatible cranksets - Deore XT 10 speed

Brains trust:

I have a lovely old 26” MTB that is used to take my toddler off sweet jumps and imbue her with a love of bikes. However, it has come with a 175mm crankset and it is brutalising my knees.

I am looking for a recommendation for a replacement where ideally I can drop it straight in. Maybe some shifting tweaks but I’d like to avoid buying other stuff. Therefore: 24mm spindle, 165-170mm arms, compatible with 10 speed Shimano from 12(?) years ago.

Before you ask: I have googled and before America took the power away I did ask Fable 5. Please help!!

Ideal: crankset with same bolt circle and chain line, shorter arms, move current chainrings over to New crank

2nd ideal - new 2x crankset with same chain line (including new chainrings), shorter crank arms

I’m guessing that bike/groupset is still has 135mm-spaced rear hub, which would be 46mm 2x chainline, if I’m understanding correctly.

I was wrong about the chain line. I was assuming simply that they were optimizing chain line for where the cassette was, without thinking about the added incentive of fitting wider tires.

The chainlineon yours is 48.8

Both of the models linked by @Peter_Burghardt should work.
