There is no problem with bottles bursting? Keego bottles are a fairly spendy affair and I don’t want to destroy mine in the freezer 
Just leave some space for the inevitable expansion.

I checked Keego’s website, and I don’t think I can order them in the U.S. at the moment.
I love these but every lid develops a leak. Am I the only one?
One out of five of my Elite bottles developed a leak. Specifically, it’s the nozzle that was leaking.

That’s not my experience.
This is how I care for my drink mix bottle:
After every ride, remove the silicone plug and rinse the bottle with dish soap solution.
Pop out the valve with a chopstick (or similar small object) by pushing against the plastic frame of the valve, not the silicone. Separate the two valve parts and wash in the dish soap solution that’s still in the bottle (just rub the parts between your fingers).
If there was only water in the bottle, I just remove the plug and let it dry.
Every few weeks the bottles get a deep clean.
