With so much talk about Ivan Glasenberg, I would like to recommend one book: The World for Sale. Written by two Bloomberg Journalists Javier Blas and Jack Farchy. It’s mostly about big trading houses (I happen to work at one of them, the nicest of those in the book). The book includes a decent chunk of the book about Glasenberg and Glencore. Good reading for the offseason.

Yes, fascinating book! I wasn’t familiar with the crazy world of commodity trading and its history until reading this.
