There was some discussion over at the Escape Collective Members’ Secret Clubhouse and we decided that, since so many of us have saddles we aren’t using, it would be a good idea to turn them into a collective lending library.
There’s a Google Form where you can enter information on a saddle you want to make available to lend, and a Google spreadsheet where you can browse the saddles that are available. If you want to borrow a saddle, contact its owner directly.
Boring legalese
Any loans resulting from the use of this spreadsheet are matters strictly between the lender and borrower, and any disagreements arising from a loan are to be worked out between the two of them. I accept no responsibility for loans that turn out badly for any reason.
Furthermore, Escape Collective, its employees, officers, heirs, and assigns have nothing whatsoever to do with this lending library, so don’t even think of bringing them into it.
In short: we’re just trying to do something cool here. Be cool.
Such a cool idea though. I’ll have a little chat with Jase and co about how we can better support this (while keeping it very much not our problem as per the OP )
I’ve been meaning to email Jase about this same idea, but for shoes. I’ve tried on so many shoes over the years trying to find a good fit. It would be cool to be able to try before you buy, since once you put cleats on, you can’t return them. If we can figure this out for saddles, I’d love if we can try it for shoes.
