Love the look of modern aero jerseys but the tan lines being down to my elbows is just stupid. Can we not get a race fit training jersey with more moderate length sleeves? Someone? Anyone? Please…somewhere on the bicep would be nice.
I hate to say it but once or twice a week I just cosplay as a triathlete
with a sleeveless jersey and ankle socks. #shameful #TheHorror

Maybe if you have aero skin like Remco

The wide open necks irk me way more than the long sleeves, although I am entirely with you on that too.

Longer sleeves mean less money spent on sunscreen!

As an acolyte of the John Stockton Style Guide much more than the MJ/Kobe/Iverson Style Guide, I feel the same way about cycling shorts, too.

ASSOS jerseys are a bit shorter than Rapha, Maap and Castelli

Is there a meaningful difference in the level of stupidity between a tan line at the elbow and one at mid-bicep?

I avoid the issue by wearing sun sleeves.
I suspect there’s a market for sun sleeves that are lighter/cooler than the current ones, which all seem to be SPF50.

Well, if tan lines are an issue you may have chosen the wrong sport. lol
My solution is to take advantage of my Z1/Z2 days by riding in sleeveless jerseys, euro-length bibs, and ankle sox. Sure, this runs the risk of violating certain cycling ‘rules’ but the tan line is less noticeable.
